This was honestly one of the best cruises that we have ever been on. An absolutely outstanding crew, so many went out of their way to make our vacation a memorable, personalized experience. The officers on board this ship are very visible and interactive with the guests. More so than on any other cruise (and there have been many on multiple lines) in my experience. Yes, the ship is older, but it has had a beautiful rehab and we found it to be the perfect size for the 3 of us. No desire to be on the 5000 passenger ships :) I was a little leery after reading some of the reviews on here - but if you are hesitating, don't- it was a fabulous experience for us. We had a 70yr old, a 49yr old and a 9year old and we were all happy. As for excursions: Maya key in Roatan -a peaceful not crowded day at a private beach that was 3 minutes by boat rode from the ship. Awesome snorkeling, really enjoyed the sea bass for lunch Altun Ha- we selected a private tour, totally worth it because we got to the ruins before the crowds and had it almost to ourselves. Check out ex pedia reviews Cozumel - royal dolphin swim, best excursion of the trip, do this if you go, I know we will remember this for the rest of our lives. Pics outrageously expensive but if you are only going to do it once, may be worth it. Concierge MJ was outstanding, if you can get a suite, do so , for us it was worth the perks. Chops was good, Giovanni's was outstanding at dinner and very good at lunch. Main DR staff very attentive. Windjammer almost always busy but again the attentive crew made a difference here. Only minor negative was the absolute chaos during embarkation at the Tampa port, computer system went down, LOTS of cranky people. Hope this helps you decide, I am glad we chose the Vision , it will be hard to beat!

Awesome cruise with fabulous crew!!

Cabin Review

Owner's Suite - 1 Bedroom
Cabin OS 8002 owners
So much room and storage! Loved this cabin, huge bathroom with a shower and tub and a bidet. 2 lounge chairs and small tables on the balcony. Lots of room with pull around curtains around the bed and the sitting room (and extra bed) area. All the furnishings were in great shape and our steward Anton was awesome! Lots of suite benefits on this ship.

See above for Roatan . This was a great tour. About an hour away . We arranges a private tour. Cheaper and well worth it for the personalized service and plus we got to the ruins before anyone else.

We booked the royal dolphin swim, it was wonderful. A truly memorable experience. Pics are outrageously expensive but the experience was really great. The park is also very nice.

See ex pedia wonderful tour and very personalized service. Great tour and got us there before the big buses. Great tour! Wanted to see Mayan ruins if we were going to travel all that way!
