Hello everyone!
We started our trip on the 27th of march at the german north sea coast. My girlfriend and me are 25 and 26 years old and we were invited by her parents to this wonderful cruise. After a night in Frankfurt we had a 9 hour flight to Montréal with connection to Miami. The immigration in Montréal took all our waiting time for the connection flight, very exhausting. On the 3 hour flight to Miami we just got water and coffee. Not so nice of Air Canada who did both flights.
We spent the morning before embarkation in Miami beach where our hotel, ocean reef suites, was located. The room was expensive, ugly and loud. But the location was great.
We had an inside stateroom on deck 9. The cabin was larger than expected because of an armchair instand of a Couch. Very Nice because we only use the cabin during night!
The bathroom was also very spacious and the shower cubicle instead of a curtain was luxury.
The only thing that was disappointing was that they didn't provide you shower gel but only a piece of soap. The shower gel is for suite guests only. Incomprehensible for such a cheap toiletry.
In the cabin the storage capacity was a little low and the closet above the bed was a bit inconvenient, especially for elderly people who were in the majority.
All in all these are just minor negatives and our attendants made up for it. Clyde and Brenton did a really great job and they were always around to fulfill our wishes.
We just took a taxi to Maho beach where we had a look on the landing airplanes. The sun was shining and there was no shadow available. So we returned to the ship 2 hours after arrival. But the experience was worth it.
We just had a long walk along the beachwalk and the Lincoln street starting at 6am because of the jetlag. We decided to embark as early as possible. This was the right decision.
