I decided to write this reviews as soon as I got beck home, since either I was very lucky or I really can't understand the bad reviews of this ship.
Let me start by saying that I cruised during Easter week, so the ship was at full capacity (more than 4,800 passangers). So it is not possible for the ship to be more crowded.
I should also start by saying that this is not a traditional ship. It is indeed a ship where you have to plan everything in advance. You have to book your show times and dinner reservations in advance, as well as certain onboard activities (like the iFly). Booking in advance takes time before the cruise, but makes life on the ship much easier. I actually like planning in advance, and had all my reservations as soon as they were available for booking.
I had an inside room with a virtual balcony.
The idea of a virtual balcony is an excellent idea (althoug I think it was Disney's idea), but I was a little disappointed with the cabin.
Don't get me wrong - the cabin was clean, quiet and nice. It had everything we needed. But it was small. It's the first time I cruised in an inside cabin, but I've seen inside cabins on other ships. This one was really small.
Embarkation and disembarakation were easy, although the area of the port leaves a lot to be desired. I didn't arrive by car, but I understood that if you have a car, parking near the port is also very easy
The only "tour" I took was a bus ride to and from Universal Studios. It was easy and quick. The best way to get to Universal (renting a car or any other way will probably take more time and will also take longer)
I have been to Nassau several times. I don't find it an interesting port. We just went ashore for a couple of hours. Strolled to the Queen's staircase and the fort, and than through the main street to look at some shops
