Where do I even begin?

To begin with the embarkation was a nightmare! I have cruised 7 times before this cruise with 3 different lines and was totally appalled at the lack of speed and service we encountered. We waited in a line over an hour and a half just to get into the building to get our small bags through security. Then we waited another 45 minutes to get our IDs checked and to get our ship cards. Then another 25 minutes to board the ship. In my opinion, this is totally unacceptable!

Once on the ship, we were promised a beautiful ship of luxury......this ship certainly did not live up to this. Dust all over the hallways and rooms. Lots of wear and tear everywhere. The pool areas and entertainment locations were WAY too small to hold all the passengers which created chaos and over crowding. This cruise line typically charges more than most and I just don't see why. The "princess" cruisers were for the most part completely snobby. They swore by cruising princess only and looked down upon those who preferred other cruise lines. They also had no problem voicing that opinion. Our other major problem was with the target age group of this cruise. I understand you need to please all clientele, but if you weren't over 60 then you probably were not pleased. There was not a variety of entertainment or entertainment times. The entertainment was mildly entertaining to say the least and I have had way better experiences on other cruise lines. Not to mention the entertainment spaces were always full to capacity and during all shows people had to stand along the aisle due to lack of space.

Cabin Review

Overall the cabin was average. The room was actually pretty spacious as far as a boat goes. The cabin did have dust on all vents and walls causing sneezing. I finally became frustrated and dusted those areas myself. The cabin is definitely starting to show it's wear and tear.

Port Reviews

Grand Cayman (Georgetown)

We LOVE this port. I have been to many ports and this is still my favorite. Grand Cayman is clean, safe, and has an amazing beach area. There is also incredible shopping of highly desired brands.
