Sorry that this review is all over the place, so much to say, with little time. This was my second trip on Breakaway and third time to Bahamas. I had a great time on the cruise with my family. Got to the pier by 10:00AM(dropped off by my bro in law), boarding group 7 on the ship by 11:50AM. We registered both my dd and nephew in entourage and splash academy in the terminal. We ate at restaurant because we want to be pampered. During our leisure lunch, we heard the announcement for the staterooms. I believe it was before around 1PM. I used the free functions on Iconcierge app(my teen registered me). After dropping our carry-ons, I toured the ship with my mom and nephew(first trip on BA), I booked my excursion from my phone, since there was a long line at the excursion desk. This was great, but after carrying my phone for 1 day, I put it in the safe(I was tired of carrying a phone and my dd did not want to use her phone on the ship). We were so tired before getting on the ship that we did not do any of the shows except Burn the Floor(Amazing singing and dancing). I had seen Rock of Ages in the past and did enjoy it.

The ship after 2 years is showing some aging. Some of the seats in the Atrium, were torn. The atrium was not as crowded this year, like last year.

My dd was in entourage. I did not see her after the first day, except for dinner and after 1. Most teens hung out at O'sheehans until about 2AM. One thing- she mentioned that some kids were drunk and were kicked out of Entourage.

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Mini-Suite with Balcony

Cabin MB

I booked a GTY minisuite and 2 days before sailing was given mid ship mini suite(13234). Our bed was next to the balcony. The temperature was a little weird, we were cold, hot, but realized the top bed blocks the flow of air at times. The bed was comfortable, I even slept on the bed couch(dd wanted to sleep in bed) one night and it felt good. FYI, we were next to an angled balcony, it is slightly larger(cabin 13232).

The suite was fine. Storage was okay, I am very organized and it worked for our 5 suitcases. This was the first time being in a cabin with 4. It was manageable. we kept the morning outfits close by, so that we would not disturb those sleeping)

I came with a nightlight, because the cabin is dark- used bathroom light).

I also used my business card in the slot to keep the lights on.

sorry that I am all over the place, if I do not type this today, I will not do this review.

The lights by the bed are very bright, so it can disturb anyone that is a light sleeper.

The bathroom, storage, double sink, size good

Shower is amazing. My mom has sore knees, so it was good for her knees. This is worth the extra money of the mini suite. It took me a few minutes to figure out the shower.

We were close to steps, elevators and I did walk from 6 to 13 with no problem.

I would definitely get 2 adjoining cabins next time(not for size) but for sleeping habits of my family. My dd wanted to sleep and the rest of us get up early, no matter, the time for bed. The balcony helps to give you extra space. We used it every day of our cruise(even cool days)
