This was our second cruise - first being on Royal Caribbean's Navigator of the Seas. Overall the cruise was very good. Staff and service were excellent. What we noticed right away, was - the bars open late and the pools close early! Compared to R/C, it seemed hard to get a drink early in the day. The pools on Celebrity closed around 8pm! Every night we wanted to relax away from the sun, and the pools were netted over and the deck pretty much abandoned!

A lot of the activities were of no use on vacation. (Fitness/Jewellery/Art/Auction)

The shore excursion was fun and no problem.

Port Reviews

St. Maarten

We walked the main road to the beach, only about 20 minutes away. There are numerous shops and places for a drink along the way. The beach seems average.

San Juan

We did our own walking tour around the old city. Another couple who was familiar with the city gave us advice on where to go. We did a free trolly ride around town.

Miami

We had a charter flight direct to Miami. The flight was late but we made it to the ship just in time. We were greeted onboard with a glass of wine. No time was spent touring the city of Miami.
