Cabin was as expected. Clean and well maintained. Sufficient storage. Good location. Quiet.

This was a good way to spend our last day of the trip since we had a late flight home. Hop On Hop Off bus was interesting. A couple the tour guides were informative, one was not at all (she never said a word). We took two of the three routes, Beach Route and the City Route. We only got off at South Beach (twice) where we walked on the beach and had coffee in the morning,mother lunch in the afternoon.

We went to Eagle Beach, a short taxi ride from the port. Beautiful beach, not crowded. We spent a couple of hours on the beach, then went back to the ship for a shower and lunch. 
After lunch we walked into town. We learned that it was a holiday, Flag Day so most shops were closed.

Aruba

The van picked took us to a quiet, lovely beach, about a half hour ride from the port, the Blue Bay Beach Resort. Snorkeling equipment was provided. This was supposed to be sightseeing also, but there was very little of that. The guide told us about the area. We stopped very briefly at two spots for photo ops, but didn't get out of the van. One of the places we stopped was to view a flock of flamingos in a marsh area, but they were very far away, maybe 1/4 of a mile.

Mandoo was the tour guide. He was extremely knowledgeable, very involved in the island environment and government. The van was comfortable, but the ride on the bus was too long, over mountains and countryside. We visited a spice factory, which was dark and rather dreary, in a wooden structure open on all sides. 
After this tour, because of the excessive time spent on the bus, we cancelled an independent tour of St Lucia because it seemed to involve a lot of bus time.

We took a taxi to the Boatyard beach and bar/restaurant. Paid $15 each for chair, umbrella and a drink. It was a hot day so we spent most of the time in the water. 
Had a Flying Fish sandwich at the Boatyard Bar and a Carib beer ( similar to Corona). 
It was a good way to spend a few hours on the beach, and not too far from the port.

Barbados

We took a taxi to Pigeon Island Beach. This was a beautiful beach, not crowded. The water was clear and the sand smooth. There was about a 3 foot dropoff a short way into the water, but it wasn't too deep. 
We paid $15 each for chair and umbrella. There was a good breeze.

St. Lucia

Again, we took a taxi to the beach, Valley Church Beach, a short ride. This was an excellent beach. Beautiful, quiet, calm. Rented chairs and umbrellas for $10 each. 
This was the beach with the big dropoff a few feet in. I mistakenly said it was at Pigeon Island.

Antigua

The tour guide took about 12 of us to several stops on the island. We had a few photo stops, where we did have time to get out of the van to enjoy the view and take photos. We went to Romney Manor, then to Brimstone Hill Fortress, a restored fortress with magnificent views and some interesting artifacts. Next we went to Timothy Hill for a photo stop, then thru town with commentary and back to the ship. Very good tour.

There were 4 ships in port the day we were there. We took the water taxi into town and walked around on the main streets, Front Street and Old Street. Upscale stores with some good prices. Very clean and modern. We stopped for the BEST gelato at Gelato Milano on Front Street where we got free Wifi. Walked back to the ship - not far, about a mile. We enjoyed the day in Phillipsburg.

St. Maarten

Both were friendly and talented, and so good at their jobs!This was a good way to pass the day and see Miami.
