Definately something for everyone in the family, so if you do not have an enjoyable time of the ship, it is your own fault! Western Caribbean Cruise was great with good weather all but a half day. Dining Room staff and Room Steward were exceptional!! We had 'my time' dining on Deck 5 and buth Umesh and Rhoderick were wonderful:) Always steerred us to great choices when unsure of what to choose ;) Room Steward Beverly was my stealth ninja, anticipating need for extra towels, ice, etc. and the room was always meticulous. Ice show was wonderful!!!! As was the Acapella group and Comedian...note to parents & RCL: Adult Only shows @ 10:30pm should be ADULT ONLY Shows! Keep the young teens out...comedian was 10 minutes into his show which was definately not PG13! There is tons of things going on for these kids! Ports of Roatan, Belize City and Cozumel were very good; we did RCL excursions and no problems had. Also, I realize that people are on vacation however, that is no reason to be rude to others on ship or total slobs!! And RCL....you need review the airport/port transportation. We 'missed' the call for our bus to the port even though we were sitting right there. Give those people a microphone to make announcements AND put in some signage! Princess Cruise lines were moving without any issue and RCL folks were sitting!

Great time was had by all.

Cabin Review

Cabin 7579
Great cabin, mid-ship! If crowds aren't your thing in the evening, for the parades, you can watch them from the bay window seat and still hear the music & announcements.

  • The Belize Zoo
Belize Zoo and boat ride was good. Ride to the zoo was long (45 minutes or so) one there, it was interesting to see this time of 'wildlife zoo' versus what we are used to in the U.S. AWESOME Guide though, very knowledgeable and make the trip interesting. Another bus ride from the zoo to the river where we had lunch of beans/rice and chicken with a cold soda/water. Then off on the boat (held about 30) down the river checking out the wildlife to the manatees in the bay then right back to the pier for a bit of shopping!

  • Salsa & Salsa
Salsa, Salsa, Margarita....need one say more? :) A wonderful time, made better by the great ladies (Laurie & Lisa) who were our instructors! A very warm and inviting atmosphere, learn to make about 8 difference salsas and 2/3 different margaritas' then...eat along with fresh chips, taquitos, quesidillas. Don't worry, the waiters are strolling around filling up your glass while you are 'cooking'. Salsa instruction afterwards to funny :)

  • Snorkeling
Tabayana Beach Break - swim/snorkel with lunch was a great day! Clean beach area with identifiable security walking up/down around us. Snorkeling instructors were well trained and very accomodating, breaking the groups up into experience level. Lunch was plentiful as were the drinks ($)
