NORWEGIAN GEM 10-DAY CARRIBEAN: March 27 - April 6, 2015

We have just returned from our 22nd NCL cruise. It was our first time sailing on the Norwegian Gem. Our itinerary took us to Saint Thomas and Saint Martin, two ports we’ve been to many times, plus San Juan, Puerto Rico and Tortola British Virgin Islands, two ports we’d never been.

The Gem is a nice ship, but it needs some overdue refurbishing. The balconies (at least the one we had) need a good cleaning and painting. The mattresses need replacing and some carpeting needs to be replaced. These are just some things you notice after raking so many cruises, but they do little to upset the cruise.

Nice cabin, near forward elevators/staircases. Small balcony.
