We had a great time on Carnival Victory! We were on the first sailing after drydock (4/4/15). It's an older ship, but looked good. The 2 new bars looked nice. I will say that I would never sail during spring break again. There were 1,000+ kids onboard, and they were not well-behaved. We saw paintings hanging by their wires on the walls. Our 2 teens decided not to go to the teen club program and hang with us. One heard a group of kids saying they wanted to fight each other. Knocking paintings off the wall so they were hanging by wires. Running the halls until after 1AM while screeching - not so relaxing, and I don't understand parents letting their kids do this. It was crazy around the pools when the larger kids were jumping on top of smaller ones and throwing items at each other. Parents not in sight. Security on the ship could have been better. Overall service by Carnival staff was excellent. Our cabin steward Hery was amazing. We preferred dining in the Lido buffet areas. Food was awesome in the main dining room though! LOVED room service, and we always had cash for tipping. Well worth it.

We did purchase Faster to the Fun - well worth the money to get on the ship and into our cabin early. Plus we were able to get off the ship early, too.

For future family cruises, we will likely sail on a newer ship with more entertainment options for us and the kids. I wouldn't mind sailing on Victory with my husband during less peak times.
