We took a trip on the NCL Getaway sailing to the Virgin Islands and Nassau. We stayed in a balcony room (SR 10720). The room was nicely sized for 2 adults. While advertised as a accommodating 3-4, I think that would be pretty tight. The balcony on that level is rather small. The room was very nice though overall and I have no major complaints.

The pool and hot tubs were nice and weren't too difficult to get into. Dining was very extensive and the Freestyle program is awesome. We ate at Cagney's (very awesome), La Cucina (pretty good), and the free options Garden Café, Savor, and Taste. The staff at Savor/Taste were very accommodating and even went out of their way to get béarnaise sauce for our steak from Cagney's! The food was good (not great), but we ate most meals in the buffet (Garden Café). It's about what you would expect from a Golden Corral or similar restaurant on land.

Activities on board were varied. Legally Blonde wasn't the caliber of Phantom, Les Miz, or Wicked - but it was fun and the cast did a good job. Illusionarium won't blow the socks of the adults from the tricks performed - but the comedy and theme of the show were very enjoyable. The comedy performers in Headliners were pretty hit/miss. Each day they provide a robust list of offerings, games, shopping, etc. You really have no reason to be "bored" on the cruise.

Great room - small balcony. Says it fits 3-4. We had 2 and it was fine - but had we had 3 to 4, I would have definitely felt cramped. Bed was pretty comfortable, but my fiancée felt it was a bit hard. Limited TV stations for when you're in the room. Not a lot of drawer space for storing clothes.

Take a surge protector as you only have 2 outlets and they only work if your key card is in the slot by the door. I read that advice online prior to the cruise and was glad I did. If you have the ability - download a TV show or some movies to your Kindle/iPAD prior to the cruise to have some entertainment options if you don't feel like leaving the room. Bring a deck of cards or some other games if you like those as well.
