My wife and I are seasoned cruisers with roughly 60 cruises, mostly on Celebrity.

I don't think the Grandeur should be rated on the same basis as more modern ships leaving from Florida. The ship is old, the gym is small and the facilities are sometimes overrun, particularly days when the Windjammer Lido is the only option for lunch.

However, we were able to drive to the port, easily board and enjoy nice breakfasts, decent dinning room food and an excellent salad bar at lunch. The entertainment was energetic and fun and the staff was helpful and attentive. For a little over a hundred bucks a day, we got all this, sun and and a boatload of nice people without the hassle of the airport.
