This was our 3rd cruise and 1st on NCL. We drove to New Orleans and working with Angle at Machu Picchu was excellent with secured parking and nice shuttle service. Embarking was quick and easy, especially nice that we had our own lounge because of our suite status. The Suite perk we used the most was breakfast and lunch at Cagney’s, nice menu and quitter than the Garden Café. We also used the concierge quit a bit. Karabi was able to schedule us into every restaurant we wanted. Disembarking was also one of her tasks.

We had a good time one each shore excursion, the beach on Roatan was nice, no beach umbrellas you pick a chair under a palm tree. The jungle trek and cave tubing was disappointing because no birds, lizards or even a butter fly was seen. The river was refreshing.

We ate dinner at the Aqua twice, the Venetian twice, the Moderno Churrascaria once, the Bamboo once and the Garden Cafe on the first night. Our group enjoyed every meal and wished we had done the Bamboo more than once. I had one meal at the Venetian that was disappointing. It was “whole turkey” and I got what looked like a Boston Market carver meal and the appetizer didn't mention carrots and it was loaded with raw carrots that I’m allergic to. Deserts were great ordering 2 on several occasions.

Cabin SJ

Thee were 5 of us in this cabin which can hold 6. Plenty of room here. The King bed could deploy fake walls for privacy but we didn't use them. The servant (Benson) and butler were on top of their game. My mother-in-law had her birthday and the room package was nice. cake, fruit and room decorations was a nice touch.
