We have cruised many times, mostly on Carnival. We spent a wonderful honeymoon on Norwegian's Westward 20+ years ago. This ship is worn and tattered. Towels and linens stained and old. We were on the 4th deck and there was terrible plumbing problems. They had gutted rooms and there was sewer stench all through our deck. The carpets stained and stinking. We had sewer stench and gurgling coming up through our sink drain the whole cruise. The crew was good. The food adequate but nothing like on other cruises. I agree with the others, bar service was poor. Ports and excursions were excellent. We will not consider Norwegian when we plan our yearly cruises in the future. As I read reviews of recent cruises on this ship, I realize that NCL was aware of the sewage problems at least 4 cruises before ours and should have been taken out of service.
