Princess Cruise Line has reached the bottom of the barrel as far as I am concerned. Many things went wrong on our 2/17/15 - 3/4/15 Princess Cruise (A505) roundtrip from LA to Hawaii to LA in Stateroom A609. This was our third cruise on Princess of the 25 cruises we have taken to date. The most DISGUSTING thing experienced during this cruise was the spare mattress cover in a plastic bag under one of the beds that was found to be severely stained with BLOOD and FECAL MATTER on the last night of our cruise.. When Princess Customer Relations called to discuss this item it turned into an interrogation on their part instead of a two party discussion. We tried to get upper management attention to this problem but always ended up with the same Customer Relations person who said that she would forward our disatisfaction with Princess to her superiors. The food in the Da Vinci Dining Room was not very good and the loin lamb chops served on two occaisions were unedible. The use of spices and sauces overwhelmed the taste of the food and had to be ordered on the side. The ship had many water leaks throughout the ship and collection buckets were everywhere in the hallway leading to our stateroom. We had to change seats in the starboard loge area in the Princess Theatre one night becuase of water dripping on us. Princess not longer issues a daily Newsletter nor crossword puzzle. On the first Friday of our cruise there was total confusion as to if, when, or where Sabbath Services for Jewish passengers was being held. At 4 PM that day a public announcement was made in the hallways that services were being held at 5 PM. Only about 10 passengers showed uo that evening. On the second Friday duirng the cruise this Sabbath Service was listed in the Princess Patter and about 60 passengers showed up for this Service. Based on the above we will no longer cruise on Princess Cruise LInes and cannot in good faith recommend it to others.
