Sail Date: Mar 2015

Have just returned from a two week cruise and stay in Jamaica, Columbia and Panama. We flew to Montego Bay, Jamaica from Birmingham on the Thomson Dreamliner which was a very nice plane with a lot more room and more comfortable.

We arrived in Montego Bay and were shown to the check-in area for the ship where our passport details, photos etc were taken and we were then transported a short distance to the Thomson Dream. Upon arriving at the ship we were shown to our cabin and then told our luggage would arrive shortly. My partner's luggage arrived but it took around 45 minutes before my luggage was found. I beginning to wonder whether it had actually arrived in Jamaica.

The cabin was lager than I thought it would be with a double bed, two bedside tables, dressing table, settee and small table. The bathroom was a little on the small side with a bath, shower over and toilet. If you had long legs it was difficult to use the toilet as your knees were squashed up against the side of the bath. The only thing wrong with the cabin was the digital safe which was complicated to programme with a new number and then took several attempts to lock and open, at one point my partner nearly threw it over the side of the ship. Thomson you need to replace these safes with more up to date ones.

Cabin Review

Very good cabin with quite a bit of space. Bathroom a little small but still adequate. Safe required updating.

Port Reviews

Montego Bay

Not a bad port, did not really see much of it. We never really had much time to view this port due to the fact this was where we embarked for the ship.
