This was my 5th cruise and my second on Celebrity. After my last Celebrity cruise I swore I would not go on another Celebrity ship. it was boring and there did not seem to be very many activities. The Silhouette fit into my vacation time frame and my husband convinced me to try again.

The cruise director Richard Spacey and his staff: Luigi, Kabir and Harold were so warm and friendly. They did a lot to get people out of their seats to participate in theme nights, dancing, games or whatever. Once a few people started to participate many more joined in. They were all very approachable.

The entertainment was pretty good. We went to most of the shows. The Broadway musical revue and Velocity were outstanding; Claire, the pianist from England was so enjoyable!

Port Reviews

St. Maarten

We did not do an excursion on St. Maarten. We took a cab to the beach and then a cab back to Philipsburg for shopping. We had a wonderful meal on the beach and returned to the ship via water taxi.

Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

We did not do an excursion. We just spent the night and got on the ship in the morning. We stayed at a Red Carpet Inn. It was fine for a one night stay.
