We sailed on the Splendor for our spring break vacation. We had a blast. We sailed with two other families with kids the same age as ours. The kids quickly learned that they pretty much could have run of the ship and were soon exploring on their own all over. The best part for them I think was the 24/7 free soft serve ice cream. The one thing I would suggest is that they have a better activity room for the 12 to 14 age group. That was pretty boring to them. However, most evenings they could go into the teen club 15-18 and play foosball and other games there.

The food was excellent! Every night was a gourmet treat from the appetizers to the desserts. The service was also excellent.

We had a balcony suite adjoining with one of the other families so we could open up the divider on the balcony. That was nice. The rooms were very large. It was quite comfortable for 2 adults and 2 teenagers.
