  3. Norwegian Epic
This was our second cruising experience as a family, since the first one was onboard the Disney Magic, we had high expectations for the Norwegian Epic 7 day west Caribbean cruise. The set up and dynamics of both offers are considerably different, shows and dinning are subject to additional charges on the Norwegian which is not the case on board Disney. Disney's option in my opinion and for us as a family is much better as it allows you to experience all the dinning options and shows on a predefine schedule which is really convenient. On the facilities side, maintenance on the Epic is not pristine, pools and water slides were shout down almost everyday during our week there. On the service side I had a really bad experience in the Manhattan restaurant, as I had to remove the plates myself no waitress was to be found, my spouse and myself courses did not arrived on time. I even put my complaint in writing hoping to hear from the staff as this was on our first night but nothing happened. Also, I have to point out the cruise never was on time going in or out of the ports. On Grand Cayman there was a very long line under the hot sun, they did not have enough tenders to server such a large crowd. We love cruising, it is a great experience to know people from all over the world and get to know different ports while in one trip. However I must admit we are not going to challenge Disney ever again and keep cruising with them their service proposal and values are much higher than the one we had just experienced

Did not meet our expectations

Playa Mia. It is hard to believe that this place is not prepared to received large crowds coming in from several cruises. Getting in was a challenge. The beach was too crowded but the services were good, the staff is friendly and attentive. The kids pool and water attractions were entertaining for them. Food was average nothing fancy.
It was amazing to us that the souvenir shop was closed due to inventory while in Easter a high season and affluence time!!

This was our second time in Grand Cayman therefore we wanted to know a different venue so we aimed to hit the beach. Tiki Beach Club seemed a good option. Food is not spectacular and beverages were average. I have been in a lot of all inclusive resorts and clubs so I am used to the program. But Tiki is not really an all inclusive club. I believe that if you book an all inclusive package it should be all inclusive not just a limited assortment of food and beverages, everything else subject to additional charges. The problem is that the all inclusive package is really limited and worth waiting getting back to the ship to have a meal. But the beach was beautiful and snorkeling out of this world

Very quick getting and out lots or transportation options including to the rental car center at the airport, facilities are optimal and the ride under the bay is awesome

Even though it was really crowded; what a wonderful experience. I recommend this tour to everyone, specially families with kids, they will have lots of fun. The scenery is spectacular the water refreshing and the climb is not that hard. Take it easy and enjoy the nature of this Jamaica's landmark.
Baboo beach club was alright, food is nothing out of this world for us, but the whole package was worth it.
