My family of 5 (parents and 3 kids ages 28, 25, 22) went on the Celebrity Summit and are all huge fans of cruises. We each have gone on over 20 cruises and this was one of the best experiences we had. We stayed in the family suite, room 8181, which is probably intended for parents and 3 children, but we made do just fine! There was plenty of room for storage and the balcony is to die for! Plus it's a great location to get anywhere on the ship. The food was excellent, the ports were great (as always in the Caribbean), the shows and entertainment were phenomenal (especially the dancers - what talent and hard work!), but the best part was the staff! The Captain's Club lounge every night had the best waitstaff and staff that made our vacation wonderful. They got us involved in the many fun game shows and activities and made memories for a lifetime! Our cruise director and his staff were a blast and extremely entertaining 24/7 - I don't know how they all keep going with their energy and enthusiasm! Some of the best activities we did were the trivia games, Dancing with the Stripes, theme parties, Top Chef at Sea, the galley tour, backstage tour with the singers and dancers (they were wonderful1) and The Newlywed not so newlywed game show. Most evenings we ate in the main dining room for late seating. It did get very late to eat though and the buffet was just as good for dinner. None of us ate at the specialty dining restaurants, but heard positive reviews on them. The gym is smaller than on most ships, and no outside access from it which was a bit frustrating. Although it was never very crowded! We for sure will continue sailing with Celebrity in the future, and can only hope for such a great experience again!
