First off, I feel a bad day cruising is always better than a good day at work. My family has been on cruises with Disney, RCCL, Carnival, and one prior with Norwegian (in the Haven). Some cruises have been better than others (we prefer Carnival), but they've up til now all been at least "good." Feel free to take my experience with a grain of salt. I've never left a poor review, but this cruise does not rate even "average."

The good things: Our room steward. Very nice, obviously hard-working guy who seemed legitimately to care about our overall cruise experience. Our room was brilliantly cleaned, promptly and thoroughly.

The pastries and "fresh bread" at the buffet. I'm pretty sure they're frozen and reheated, but they were actually pretty good and I looked forward to them every day. Also, the breakfast sausage and the lasagna at the buffet. (All 3 were better than Carnival, I'd say).

Noisy! Avoid if possible. This room is directly across from the Crew Door which means lots of opening and closing at all hours. Lots of carts being pushed from that room. Some talking, but in general the stewards were really quiet. The biggest problem with the room is that it must be located under a main plumbing valve because we kept hearing this sound like a closet door rolling back and forth, and finally figured out that it's the sound of many, many loos flushing. All day and all night. :-)
