Expecting to board a tired Majesty of the Seas she looked pretty tight for our four day cruise, fresh paint, carpets and pool deck. But maybe they should have given the staff some time off as the entire crew seemed tired when we boarded. The energy picked up with dinner as the diningroom staff zoomed around serving food at a pace I have never seen before on a cruise. Not that we wanted to eat but we were at the late seating and were at a table for four with just the two of us. The bar staff quickly delivered our drinks which I think is helped along with a couple of dollars on the first night. The food was middle of the road good (average) but again our wait staff were great.

The shows were better than I remember before and the bilingual Cruise Director was quite impressive with her multible language announcements however this was her last cruise before vacation. The poolside antics (ie games) were hit of miss. And having just sailed the Ocean Princess with only 680 passengers this ship had the same amount of hot tubs but 2700+ passengers. The Viking Lounge was always a quiet get away spot. The late night college age games were funny however not kid friendly so beware.

The passengers were a mix of College kids and South Americans and a splash of Mid-westerners. Coco Cay was a tender nightmare as a second RCCL ship was there and we had to share tenders with her. Key West was nice as you could walk to town. Nassau been there done that Key West muck better.

Cabin Review

Ocean View Stateroom

Cabin G

Room was fresh and easy to move about with the bed in the king position however pushed against the wall on one side. TV was terrible but whose watching that most stations in Spanish. Closet was quite big and plenty of storage space. No complaints here only noisey neighbors ruin this room.
