My wife and I live in The Villages, Fl. and this was our 18th cruise and the 4th one on Royal Caribbean. My sister and her husband drive down from Wilmington, NC to join us on this cruise. The 4 hour drive to Port Everglades was without incident and pleasant on a beautiful sunny Florida day. Enbarkation was the best ever from the time we turned our luggage over to the porter until we checked in to receive our SHIPSAIL and boarded the ship, it seemed like it only took about 10 minutes. We've cruise larger ships but prefer the size of the Legend becaue we were able to meet and interact with many passengers throughtout the cruise. The four of us enjoyed the many activities including music trivia, karaoke, Veterans gathering, dance classes and especially the quest. we shared the same cabin steward and were extremely pleased with his service and friendly attitude. Every request we made of him was quickly and efficienty met. We sat at a table for four in early dinning and were disappointed with the two hours it took for us to complete our dinner eight of the ten nights and each meal was served warm if not cool. We addressed this issue to the head server which resulted in two hot meals and quick service. We were not happy with the change of port from Tortola to St. Thomas and have booked another cruise with another cruise company that has a stop in the port of Tortola. The following excursions in the following ports were outstanding:
St. Kitts - Island Highlights Tour
Dominica - Emerald Falls, Trafalgar Falls and Botanical Gardens Tour
We were pleased with the cabin. The shower was a little smaller than other ships but cannot complain since this was an inside cabin and shouldn't be surprised of size of shower.
