My family and I have been on more than a dozen cruises, two of which were expedition cruises. My husband and I have been to the Galapogos twice and wanted to share the experience with our teenage girls. We could not have been more disappointed with the amenities, the accommodations, the food or the service. Despite the best efforts by the staff and crew, the daily activities were totally disorganized. Pick-ups and drops were very often late and activities were overbooked. Also, the air-airconditioning system is turned off at night leaving our room in the mid 80s. This is something that I read from other reviews and specifically asked our representative at Silversea about. We were told that this was a onetime mechanical issue. We learned from the staff onboard that this is a new cost saving measure and is directed by HQ. In any event, we were very uncomfortable at night.

The only real positive is that the naturalists were great, but it should be noted that they are not Silversea employees. Rather they work for the park service in the Galapagos.
