This was our first cruise and it was a lot of years in the making. We had high expectations and booked it about a year ahead so we had plenty of time to further increase our anticipation and expectations. Obviously a recipe for an epic disappointment. However, our cruise met and exceeded our expectations in all ways. We travelled from Alabama so only had a 3 1/2 hour drive and the Fulton Street Parking facilities were good with their shuttle service handling the transportation to/from the terminal effectively.

We booked an aft balcony room and it was perfect. The size was comfortable and our room steward kept it impeccable. He was personable handmade us feel welcomed whenever we met him which was frequently every day. His towel animals were an extra treat. All of the staff were friendly and left good impressions in all locations on the ship.

The dining was exceptional and the complementary dining room experiences left us feeling like we were in a 4 star restaurant every night and welcomed very morning for breakfast. We were surprised at the quality of the evening entertainment as to us this was an add-on and the professional quality of the entertainers was a bonus that we were not expecting. The additional activities of the cruise staff were appreciated and added to the evening fun.
