I am an avid cruiser and have been on many ships, Carnival more then 10 times, Royal Caribbean more then 7 times and Disney. There were a lot of issues with this cruise and company and i will address them each.

What I would like to address first is the fact that the only restaurant’s that had decent food required reservations and cost to get in, oh and did I mention that they were all booked by day one on the cruise so you could not get a reservation unless it was after 8:30PM. The buffet was just a buffet nothing to write home about. The specialty restaurants were great if you could get in at a decent hour and you actually got hot food. The Taste and Savor was a joke food was cold, waiters were not attentive and was only opened for 2 hours at a time. Room Service 24 hours a day, NOT after midnight you had to pay a service fee and gratuity added to the service fee. Oh and did I mention the food was not hot ever? It was always cold or a little warm. O'Sheehan's was awesome very hot and fresh, to bad they have like 30 tables and only 5 staff members to assist. Sushi on most other ships was free, not here you had to pay for it.

Next I would like to address the shows or entertainment, 90% of the shows on our cruise were also booked by day one and you had to make reservations or standby incase people didn't show, why is that? No other cruise lines require this? You can simply walk in and watch the comedy show or movies. Oh and did I mention the magic show that served dinner cost 25-30 a person including for each child? The food was great for the show but sad you had to pay to watch it and eat a nice meal. Read more
