The Norwegian Breakaway is an AMAZING ship but that is where the amazing part ends. Food in main dining rooms sub standard, service by MAJORITY of the staff VERY sub standard and the organization and communication of the events VERY poor! All which made for a horrible trip and frankly this was the first and LAST Norwegian cruise we will EVER take! As I said the ship is at a standard of Celebrity Solstice class ships, very elegant! But everything and I mean everything falls apart from there. Food...I truly believe and I doubt this is true, that the Breakaway delivers very sub standard food in the dining rooms to get you to go to the $$$ dining rooms - which are better but not all that better. The service in all dining rooms si horrible....the food in the buffet on the top deck was by far the best food on the ship and this is coming from someone that loves eating in high end restaurants. I will be heading back to Celebrity for the service and the food! Everywhere breakaway nickels and dimes you and they must have reservations for everything!!! Its a shame....and it ruined a possibly good vacation...never again.

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Balcony Stateroom

Cabin BA

We had a larger cabin that was well appointed. Came with a tub and two sinks. Bed was near closet vs balcony...I like the bed near the balcony...allows for better access to closet. Plus you can hear the waves breaking with the door open at night. Small tv

Port Reviews

Port Canaveral (Orlando)

We booked our own "excursion if you will. We found Blue Heron Charters for a 5 hour deep sea fishing trip that was BY FAR the highlight of the trip. Captain Frank Pawela was a pleasure to work with and kept in contact with me from the time we booked the trip to the day we left. And NO time did we feel pressured or anything. He has one of the fastest boats in the area and it was no time before we were at the fishing grounds. And it was too much longer until the fish began biting. The patience of Capt Frank and his first mate Conner was extraordinary! We felt welcome and at home on his boat. We made our quota of game fish and had plenty of time to make it back to the boat by dinner. The professionalism of the entire team was unbelievable. We had six in our party and EVERYONE caught a fish. We were lucky with the weather but Capt Frank made sure we new well before if the chances were good or not. And even if they changed last minute we knew immediately upon arriving in the area whether we could go out or not. I recommend this boat charter to anyone and everyone who may be in Port Canaveral off the Breakaway or Quantum of the Seas...you all are missing a huge experience of a lifetime! Don't miss it! http://www.blueheronfishingcharter.com/ and tell them Rudy sent you!!!

Great Stirrup Cay

Boring and a wasted day. Not fun at all spent only an hour and went back to the ship. And this 150 character thing is unfair. Nothing good to write. So I am now just typing to meet the 150 characters.
