Unfortunately I was a bit disappointed in this ship. It's been 7 years since my last cruise with Carnival and it seems as though things have changed since then. I was sad to see that the food in the dining was not as good and that you now have to pay for a decent steak. The only night we enjoyed the food was on lobster/ formal night. I also noticed that there was no captains cocktail party for returning guests. The ship is need of some updates so I wont be to critical of the condition of the ship. It was fairly clean throughout. Other than a few areas that had puke and sewage smell. I was not pleased with the attitudes and slowness of the bar staff and dinner staff. All other crew were helpful and friendly. Buffets were okay and it was hit and miss. Shows were good but I wasn't impressed with the comedy. The port stops were really nice and I would do this itinerary again just not on this ship.

Cabin Review

Ocean View

Cabin 6C

The cabin was just great. Big enough to accommodate me and my 2 sons. It was clean and the shower had hot, hot water and really good water pressure. Plenty of storage and perfect oceanview. The bedding was comfortable as well. Not much noise in this room either.

Port Reviews

Tampa

Treated like a terrorist at customs for having 2 cartoons over the limit which I declared and was prepared to pay taxes on. Was charged about. 35% tax for them.
