This was my 2nd time on Spirit. Despite her being the oldest in NCLs fleet so makes up for both age and size with character. She has a wonderful layout with plenty of open decks and all entertainment venues within easy walking distances.
This time I booked a guarantee Balcony and got a mid-ship on deck 9, just above the jewellery shop but never heard a thing from below.
The only thing is the bathroom seems to be designed for someone less than 5ft and you sometimes have to do a gymnastic maneouver to use the toilet cubicle.
The staff always seem happy and with the low passegener numbers onboard it's easy to get recognised at your usual bar.
Cripton magic and elements were the highlights of the theatre ents. Pablo in Henry's bar in the evening.
I ate at Cagneys one night and whilst the food was great service was slow, 2hrs in total and empty plates were left on the table for about 15mins. The buffet wasn't as good as previous years and service like breakfast which was advertised until 11:30 was ramping down from 10AM!
Overall great little ship, definitely one for sunny weather to stroll the promenade or the Biergarten.
Nice layout, comfortable bed. Bathroom cubicle a tight fit for anyone over 5ft!
