This was our 5th cruise with HAL and 3rd on the Westerdam. We love HAL and the Westerdam. Embarkation was a breeze. We arrived at the port a bit early and after a short wait we were allowed on board and told our stateroom was ready.
We dropped our carry on luggage and then went to the Neptune Lounge and met Margaret and Marianne. They were immediately able to help us with dining reservations and with a mix up over wine we had ordered.
We then went to the Mariner's lunch. The food was delicious but menu was predicable. Service was great. Upon returning to our room, we found our luggage had been delivered and we were able to unpack and stow our luggage. We met one of our stewards, DaDang. He was fantastic as was his helper Ary.

Neptune Deluxe Verandah Suite
Cabin was wonderful. Love the size of the Neptune Suites as well as the benefits. Especially free laundry! The sofa had been recovered. Wish the mini bar had an empty shelf.
