Overall we enjoyed the cruise, our third in the last 2 years. We had an outside room on deck 8. I would rate most areas as good, difficult to fine a very good or excellent rating! Lots of room for improvement though. Offer of free drink package as a promo(UB) is a bit misleading as 20% autograt is included and also 10% VAT depending which port you are in. This is in addition to daily autogratuities of $12.95 per guest. Request to have this removed (it is supposed to be discretionary) is frowned upon! I found guest services unhelpful if you did not book the whole package through NCL ( out travel agent booked the flight and transfers separately as there was a significant difference in price). Price of tours were very high, we used hop on hop off services in most port for a fraction of the cost and also used local taxis for same tours at less than half the price. We had to get off the ship by 9.30 am although our flight back to uk was not until 8PM. We could not stay on the ship until the afternoon (this was allowed on Thomson last year), reason given was that everyone had to get off the ship so that ship can be prepared to take new guests from 11am onwards.The fact is that hundreds of new guests had already joined the ship 2 days earlier in Malaga and they were going on and off the ship all day anyway! We then decided to book a tour with NCL on disembarkation day to Monserat which was for 4.5 hours but still had to leave the ship by 07.15am which meant we were at the Airport for shortly atter 12 and still had an 8 hours wait for our flight. This tour could have left the ship after 9am and allow more free time! The cruise was average and more can be done at no extra or very little extra cost in order to improve guest satisfaction.
