We are a mid-40's couple who have started spending a week or two each winter running away from the snow and ice of the mid-west. This was our 4th winter cruise in the Caribbean, and our 6th Celebrity Cruise overall.

We flew into Ft. Lauderdale the day before our cruise, and stayed at the Hyatt House in Dania Beach. The shuttle arrived after a short wait, and the room was ready when we arrived, about noon. After a very early start, we decided to take a nap in the room, and found a comfortable bed and quiet location. A mall area was a few blocks away, making dinner easy that evening. Breakfast the next morning included the usual offerings, including omelettes cooked to order. As we were sailing out of the Port of Miami, we had arranged private transportation via MJS, and the driver was there as expected. We arrived at the ship just after noon, and had only a short wait in line before we were allowed to board the ship.

This was our second time on Celebrity Reflection, the first being her first season. Once again, she lived up to our expectations. The friendly staff saw to our needs and quickly learned our likes. We were thrilled to see faces we recognized, including a second Restaurant Manager on board for the new Suite Restaurant. He spotted us the first evening, with a "I knew it was you!" when he found us at our favorite table in Select Dining. Our first lunch was in the Bistro on Five, where we enjoyed our favorites while waiting for the cabins to be available. We attended the Sea Day mid-morning Cruise Critic Meet and Greet, where we met the Hotel Director Jamie and Event Coordinator Alexis. Alexis was very helpful in fulfilling one of my husband's desires - that of seeing the helipad . Thanks Alexis!

Concierge Class 2

Cabin C2

Extra large balcony on the hump, facing the rear of the ship. The bed is by the balcony. This is exactly the type of cabin we look for.

San Juan

We've been to San Juan a number of times. This time, we simply ran to the market for a few things we had forgotten (Yay for the CVS at the end of the pier!) and to a store for the coffee we promised to bring back for our DD.
