This is our 2nd cruise with Princess and we have done cruises with P&O, Royal Carribean, first the positives, Cabin Steward was amazing, our sheets changed and cabin spotless. Tender service was one of the best we have experienced. Evening meals were good and service in the Santa Fe was great. We experienced great service from all staff on board.

Ports of call were great, but couple of long days due to distance from Bangkok and Saigon. Lots of activities on board best selection we have come across, so you could do a lot or nothing. Shore excursion lectures were very informative.

Now the negatives, breakfast selection was poor, was disappointed with evening entertainment in the Princess Theatre, whilst I like the dancers/singers, would have preferred more variety, really enjoyed Steve Larkin. First cruise I have ever come across where they have run out of so much stuff e.g. English breakfast tea, wine, vodka, bacardi and scotch. Now even though this ship was going into dry dock, this is no excuse as we were on the Rhapsody of the Seas going into dry dock and didn't experience this. ps we are not big drinkers, just happened every drink I ordered they didn't have. Even waiter in dining room was embarrassed by it.

Cabin Review

Cabin inside cabin

Being an inside cabin didn't bother us, cabin nice and clean, very quiet.

Port Reviews

Singapore

Singapore is a very clean and pretty city. Easy to get around on the MRT and plenty of taxis. Clarke Quay is a great area for food plenty to see and do in Singapore.

Koh Samui

Enjoyed Koh Samui, went to the waterfall, monkey show on how they remove coconuts, beaches, shopping. Great place to go for a facial, people very friendly.

Bangkok (Laem Chabang)

We didn't go to Bangkok, 2 1/2 hours put me off, instead we went to the Nong Nooch Gardens, Pattaya Floating Markets, Sanctuary of Truth, really enjoy Nong Nooch Gardens and Santuary of Truth, don't worry about Pattaya Floating Markets, very expensive there.

Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon)

We did a private tour through Smile Tours, very informative, lovely friendly people, although they can be a bit pushy at the markets, very hot be prepared if you don't like heat.
