EMBARKATION: Getting on the ship was a nightmare-worse than I have ever been through. It took 2 hours to get onboard.
SHIP: Ship itself was clean and nice. Decor is along the lines of any other Carnival ship. Layout was on par to other ships as well. Easy to get around.
FOOD: The food was average. Not anything you would say "WOW" to but also not deserving of complaints either. The only complaint I have in the food department was that the breakfast & lunch lines were always very long. It generally took 15 mins or more to get through the line. The food on the buffets was also not very warm. Pizza was fabulous as well as the sandwiches. Our wait staff in the Black Pearl was excellent...some of the best we've had.
