We flew in a day early for the cruise in case we had any delays with the winter weather. We stayed at a hotel not far the airport which had a pick up service for the airport. We stayed at the Baymont first time , it was ok, not overly happy but it was clean and they offered port shuttle service for 15.00 each. However the pickup at the airport service they offer needs improvement. they say 15-20 min. when I called and it was an hour. I called 3 times. We my cousin and I was supposed to have a room with 2 beds but.... No inside pool or activities nearby in walking distance. There was fast food places in walking and a grocery, liquor store . Breakfast was ok. I would go back only if other hotels were full as the rooms were clean but for what I paid I expected more and the airport pickup was bad.

We got to the ship and it seemed dark upon entry but was happy to be on board, lunch was great and the first inside cabin I've ever had with Carnival . Booking only 7 weeks from cruising we got a nice room lots of space as it was a handicap room not far from the elevator. We could hear the music from the club just under us so if you like quiet this isn't for you at night cabin #6429 however I did miss having a balcony but was happy with the room. The ship to me didn't have a lot to offer compared to other ships. Very small mini golf and not a lot going on around the pool areas like most ships do, but we still made the best of it. We loved our dining room staff and cabin stewarts, very clean rooms and fun fast dining service. We liked the Adult Comedy Shows and saw a few of them. The Main Pool was broke down one day sending families to the adult pools, understandably only to see that they were reminded it was for adults only. Sad for families with kids like 8-13 who don't want the baby pool and the main one out of service. My teen nieces were on board in another cabin with family, so that was a boring time for them. They should of accommodated for that during the break down and allowed families to be in the pool. We did enjoy going to Tiki Beach Resort at Grand Cayman but I would skip the all inclusive as the rum punch was watered down and the food was a grill set up on the back area with a choice of a grilled burger or a hotdog with a cold salad and canned fruit cocktail . If I went again I would order food at the rest./ bar instead as it looked better. But the chair were there and bathrooms so it was great day at the beach ! The entertainment really didn't spark me through out the ship but it was clean and lots of friendly staff and my company was great. Disembarkation was good, very smooth .

Cabin 4D

Cabin was a roomy handicap room near the elevators, but just above the night clubs so lots of music at night. but we booked late so not bad for us.

Port Reviews

Falmouth

Only did the shopping got Blue mountain coffee and some Jamaican rum then back on the ship enjoyed lunch. I have been there several times so I didn't take a tour.

Miami

Didn't tour Miami, so only at the airport and area around hotel so can not give a good count of experiences. looked nice around the port area. New tunnel looks good.
