This is our 5th NCL cruise (Norwegian Sea, Norway, NCL Star, NCL Jewel) and we have cruised 30+ times on Carnival, Princess, HAL, Costa, Renaissance etc. We have cruised Alaska, NE-Canada, Mexican Riviera, Caribbean, Mississippi River, and twice before in the MED. We picked this cruise particularly for the ports we were visiting and the great mix of sea days for relaxation.

We arrived directly from the airport and after check in waited until about 12:30pm to board. As others have posted we were greeted with champagne and orange juice and free to roam until the cabins were ready. We were shown to the Medusa lounge where we were able to check our carry on luggage.

We met some of our CC group for lunch in the Grand Pacific Dining room and when we were finished our cabin was ready, our luggage had arrived, we got unpacked and took a little nap. Read more
