Our cruise in general was great, but here are a few things for you might like to know. We had had anytime dining and that name is misleading. You need to have a reservation and that time is usually 5:45 or 8:00. If you just show up you will be given a pager and usually a 45 minute wait. We did not go to formal night. The ship offers the buffet as an option. I found out from another cruiser after the second formal night that we could have had our dinner delivered to our room. It would have been nice to have the lobster. We did eat at Sterlings one night and it was great. We arrived a little early and they were able to seat us right away. I also heard the the other specialty restaurant was very good also. We had a handicapped cabin and it was great. Very roomy, lots of storage space. The location was great, right by the elevators. I was surprised how quiet it was being by the elevators. The balcony was wonderful and so relaxing. The bathroom was very roomy and the shower had a fold down bench and hand held showerhead. The beds were very hard. We were at the front midship and it was very convenient to the things we like. Our room was perfect and the service was excellent. If you are interested in spa treatments, you do not need to book in advance. They run different specials each day, that are more affordable. Attend the spa classes you will get discounts for services, usually 1/2 price. The spa personnel are very pushy in trying to sell products and they are pricey. Just let them know up front you are only interested in the services. The first time of the production shows can be standing room only, so go early to get a seat. You do need to book shore excursions early. Ports

Puerto Vallarta - We just took a cab into town and took a trolly ride for a tour, shopped a little bit and returned to the ship. Other couples I talked to hired a cab for the day for $50 - %60. That was for about 6 hours. They took them on a tour of the area, one even waited while they picked up a few things in Wal-Mart.

Mazatlan - We took a general tour and it was boring. Another couple I talked to did the Salsa Salsa and said it was really fun. They made drinks, then different types of salsa, then had the dance lessons. They said they were not dancers, but had a great time.
