My DH and I are in our early-mid 30's, and traveled from Dawsonville GA (North of atlanta GA) Flew from ATL on Delta to Miami on Friday to catch the ship on Sunday. We booked a hotel room through lastminutetravel.com and got a great deal on the Intercontinental Hotel in downtown miami. Took a cab from the airport to the hotel (about 7 miles) and cost us about $25.

Embarkment- Not terrible, we took some canned drinks in the wheeled carry-on to have throughout the week. Got on with no issues and went to our room. There was no ice in the bucket and we tried to find our steward with no luck.We went to the Muster drill. It wasn't bad. We went back to our rooms and still no ice or sign of room steward. There must have been something going on, we had to call 3 times and didn't have any ice until after dinner.

Got a nice balcony room, 6456 at the back of the boat, the only downside is this, it is right above the Eagles lounge. There is karaoke music until 1 am most nights. If you don't want to hear this, you might want to get another room.
