My wife and I sailed on this cruise that left Ft Lauderdale on May 9th and arrived in Montreal on May 22nd. The ship stopped in Jacksonville, Charleston SC, New York, New London, Boston, Bar Harbor Me, Halifax, Sydney, Charlottetown, Quebec and Montreal. We also spent an afternoon sailing in Saquenay Fjord. There were two days at sea including the one in the Fjord.

We live in Florida so we drove to the port in a rental car and dropped it off at the local Budget office. They provided a van to take us and our luggage back to the port. We arrived at the dock a little before Noon and were on the ship by 12:30. We had preregistered on the Internet and only had a short wait to pick up our cruise card and check in. We had reserved our cruise through the internet and had gone with a verandah guarantee. We ended up with a verandah suite category A. It was actually the nicest cabin we have had so far on any of our 11 cruises.

Once on the ship we were told that rooms were still being prepared and we could get something to eat up on the Lido deck so we took the elevator up there with our carry-on luggage which included 6 bottles of wine and a 12 pack of diet Pepsi. By the time we had eaten a light lunch the announcement came that passengers could go to their rooms. This was probably around 1:30 or so. Because our cabin was only one deck down from the Lido we just walked down the steps and avoided the lines at the elevators.
