BACK-TO-BACK CRUISES: We sailed on back-to-back cruises on the Splendor from Fort Lauderdale. The first cruise was a 2-day cruise to Nassau and the second was a 4-day cruise to the Bahamas. This was our first B2B cruise and we would do it again in a minute.

TRAVEL & EMBARKATION: We flew on North West on our own. The Transfers through Carnival were fantastic - easy, efficient and a very easy journey to the ship on a first class coach bus. One bad flaw - it was a very crowded port and the line ups were 1-1/2 hrs long due to new ship and small berth, we were told

SHIP: Our trip was wonderful and overwhelming just being on this elegant, huge beautiful ship. All 13 decks decor was awesome and fun and gorgeous - especially all the Spa decks and Spa Accommodations like we had. They were in a class by themselves. The passengers were very nice and friendly. The Meet and Greet was so well arranged on the Cruise Critic board and was attended by Greg, our piano player and Goose, our cruise director and was held in the beautiful Piano bar.

Cabin Review

Cabin 4 S

4S Spa Accomodation Interior Cabin 1023 on 10th deck, Asian decorated beautiflly, small but comfy, compact and cozy, very special extra Spa amenities in room, same size but different and upgraded from regular Interiors being on the Spa Accomodations Deck, quiet location, very quiet cabin and darkened room sleeping (great!), 10th private outside deck down the hall exit, up 1 flight of stairs to beautiful Cloud 9 Spa, best value for your money we feel.
