Sail Date: May 2008

This was a short (4 night) repositioning cruise from Hamburg to Southampton in May. We flew British Airways from the, recently opened, Terminal 5 at Heathrow, without any problem (luggage arrived safely). Met by a cruise representative at the airport and taken swiftly to the coach for the short transfer to the dock. We had to wait around for approx 30 mins until embarkation, which again was effortless.

Buffet lunch was available in the Windjammer and some of the bars were open so we had a cocktail outside in the sunshine (last we saw!).

Our cabin was really spacious as we had an ocean view at the end of a row of balcony cabins so had the extra space where the balcony would have been. It was very quiet and spotlessly clean, as was the whole ship. We loved the artwork around the ship and the feeling of light. It is a very easy ship to get around and did not take us long to find our bearings.
