Transportation Our cab came right on time and check in at the airport was easy as it was the first flight of the day. We each checked 1 bag and easily got through security lines prepared to remove just our shoes and jackets with nothing strangling from our necks or lurking in our pockets that might trigger an alarm. Lines seem to be moving much more efficiently with each and every trip we take!

Snacks, drinks and tv were provided on all four flight legs with Jet Blue although it seems they're fazing out the Pistachio Biscotti as it was only offered on 1 leg of the flight and no longer listed in the snack choices. The terra blue chips are no better but the breakfast cookies or Doritos variety pack continue to be good choices for the hungry traveler! Headsets now cost $1 so it's best to bring your own. Jet Blue never offered quality headsets anyway. If you do plan to buy them, bring a credit or debit card because no cash is accepted on board!

The free Ramada airport/cruiseport shuttle came within 30 minutes of my call to the hotel even though I was on hold for nearly 10 minutes. I had the number loaded into my cellphone so that I could reach them when we arrived. Apparently it's possible to call from inside the airport as well on a free courtesy phone. The shuttle was clean and the driver was courteous. Ramada Cruiseport/Airport Hotel in Fort Lauderdale We pulled up to the hotel and the driver told me there was no restaurants within walking distance. He was right. It was miles down a busy highway with no sidewalk to the nearest shopping areas with fast food or diner choices on Rte 84. Big negative to this hotel. Many of the other hotels on Rte 84 are right next to fast food or dining options but this one is not. Be prepared. No grocery stores. No restaurants. No pharmacy.

Cabin Review

Cabin P

Great location, close to the atrium, very noisy the final night due to luggage being loaded at dock between 1 and 5 a.m. but quiet otherwise, shower has a large bar jutting into it and is cold and uncomfortable
