Sail Date: Nov 2008
Cabin: Mini-Suite with Balcony

We sailed on the Norwegian on November 2, 2008 for a 13 day repositioning cruise from NYC to Miami.

We initially booked an outside balcony BD and ended up upgrading to a mini suite on the portside, 11670 with friends staying in 11668.

Embarkation: This is our 4th NCL cruise and our friends 13th. We arrived at the Passenger Terminal after an early morning flight to NYC. We arrived early. We were told we could not sign in until 11am. The process went very smoothly. However, we were told we could not get on the ship until 1pm and were told we could not go to our cabins because they would not be ready until at least 2:30pm and an announcement would be made. This is the first time our cabins were not ready upon entering the ship. Maybe we were just lucky before. Had lunch in the Venetian Main Dining Room. Service was a little unorganized and extremely slow.

Great balcony, great stateroom. Closet was adequate however shelves were difficult to access and very limited drawer space.
