This was our sixth cruise overall and our third on Celebrity, the last two being on the Summit. This was the first time we had traveled with two other couples. Each of those couples had done one other cruise, one with Celebrity and the other on an RCL ship. While I still believe Celebrity is at the top of the heap, it appeared to me that they are letting the little things slip through the cracks and this has caused a slight degradation of their services.

Embarkation at Cape Liberty was the best experience we have had with Celebrity. While the facility itself is nothing to write home about, the efficiency made boarding easy. From the time we got to the pier until the time we were on board was no more than 30 minutes.

Once on board we noticed the first of several small declines in standards. The greeters were doing their job and nothing more. The champagne and mimosas were handed to us in a business like manner with instructions not to take the glasses out of the area. The gang plank was on deck one and that is not conducive to a party atmosphere and that could have been one of the problems.
