My sister(61) and I(57) fell in love with cruising four years ago. This was my 7th and my sister's 6th cruise. Previously we have sailed on Carnival because of the ports of departures and also the cost. When I spotted the deals that NCL offered I was excited to try something new.

We flew out of Tulsa via Dallas to Ft Lauderdale. Upon arrival we were greeted by NCL personal and directed to the transport bus and off we went to the port. Embarkation was as smooth as any we had previously done, no longer than 20 Minutes and we were enjoying the free glass of bubbly and orange juice..nice touch...alas the one and only nice touch!

Our room was port side on the 10th deck midship, great location, but the room was small and had limited storage and drawer space. The room was very colorful and cheery which we liked and the balcony was comparable to those on Carnival. The beds were on the firm side and the pillows, one large hard, one very soft, and the bedding was nice and clean. We didn't notice any fowl smells except when leaving port, but that wasn't long.
