Four women braving the end of hurricane season to travel on the Glory. Three past cruisers and one cruise virgin. Ages 46-60. Two of us drove and two flew day prior to cruise. We all stayed at the Radisson at the Port. Good location, sleep number beds leave alot to be desired. Shuttle to airport was easy and quick. We were on board by 11:30am. Check in on boat was speedy, especially since we had all documents and sail and sign passes completed.

The Glory was as we remembered, squeaky clean and loaded with lots of color. Lunch on Lido was good. We went upstairs in the back of the Red Sail to the Fish and Chips area. Almost no one sitting up there, the fried oysters and fish were really great. Almost hate to let more people know about this area, since it is so quite.

About 12:30 we went up to check out our rooms. Two on Empress deck inside. Adequate room, lots of storage. First room steward was less than accommodating, but after the first day she was gone and replaced with another and he was fantastic. The other two were on the Spa deck. When we entered this room we were blown away by the view. The whole wall is a window that is angled out giving you about 4 or 5 more feet of room. There are two seats and a small table by the window, we drank coffee and munched early danish there each day. There are curtains to draw, but we never did the view was !!!! Being on the 11th floor of the ship allows for breathtaking port pictures. We almost prefer this one to a balcony. As with all oceanview rooms on Carnival it is huge with a couch, tons of storage and the spa rooms also have a bunk in the ceiling that will pull down if needed. I think it would be comfortable for a family, but not 4 adults. The spa is just outside the door and their showers are much bigger, so if you needed to both shower that could be an option.

Cabin Review

Cabin spa

Huge wall of windows, best cabin in my opinion. Lot of storage, quiet,

tons of elevators in hallway. Hot tub just around the corner.
