My sister and I are long-time cruisers from our single days but now have been going with our respective DH's. Have done Celebrity Millennium the past two years and were going to do Solstice until they banned smoking ( My DH is a smoker and enjoys sitting on the balcony to smoke). We decided to try Princess again and this cruise was available at a relatively good price. We had the balcony cabin on Caribe deck which appears to have especially large balconies. We really like being able to open the door between our balconies so we could visit.

Cabin is standard in amenities and space -small but plenty of storage space except for lack of hooks to hang things on. Overall, the ship is pretty - a little over the top in places but not gaudy.

As others said embarkation was a bit of a pain due to computer glitch- delayed and no adequate explanation. They had one guy trying to yell things out- he needed a microphone or something because we couldn't hear what he was saying and this just added to the confusion. Once on,we were victims of the keys that wouldn't work...and had to stand in the line to rekey. It would have been nice if they offered an apology or free drink for everyone.. the same thing for the day they had us troop down to the lounge to clear US customs a day early. We don't understand why they didn't just announce that it was a mistake and just go the next day. It was no big deal to me but there were elderly people and it seems like an unnecessary hassle.
