My DH and I did a Back2Back on the Freedom this past September. For all RCI cruisers let me tell you that there will be no more Back2Back cruises - it is now called Continuous Cruising!! Our first week was the Eastern Caribbean and the second was the Western Caribbean.

We arrived in Miami the 20th of September and stayed in the Miami Airport Hotel. Our first room had no air conditioning so after a trip to Check-In we were moved to a new room. It was fine and made the move to the ship on Sunday a breeze. We were on the first bus to leave the airport and arrived at the port around 11:15. I had pre-printed our Sea Pass information so embarkation was easy and we were on board by 11:40. What a beautiful ship Freedom of the Seas is. Before going for lunch we stopped in the dining room (Isaac's) to correct our seating for dinner. We had requested the second seating but when our papers came we were in the early seating. Tolgar Demetrius, the Head Waiter had our seating changed to the later seating within minutes.

We went to the Windjammer, ate lunch then proceeded to our state room. Our attendant for this week was a young man named Edison Lewis who proved to be a true asset to RCI. Not only was he professional and helpful he was a true joy to be around. He made sure all of our requests were promptly taken care of (extra pillows, ashtray, etc.).
