My wife and I just got back from our honeymoon on the 09/28/08 sailing. This was my 5th cruise with RCCL and her first cruise ever. (She did get some motion sickness but took Ginger Pills at every meal and found these to be very helpful). We flew in the same day from Sacramento, took a taxi to the San Pedro terminal and arrived at 12:15 p.m. Embarkation went smooth; we were on the ship within 20 minutes. Once on the ship we waited around until our stateroom was ready at 1:00 p.m. We immediately met our cabin steward who was very nice and made sure we were taken care of the whole trip. I had ordered stateroom "Just Married" stateroom decorations and the cabin was all decorated upon arrival. We had an ocean view stateroom towards the front of the ship. The room was small, a decent amount of closet and drawer space. The furniture did look a little worn, but for the normal person, probably not noticeable. We did notice noise some mornings and evenings, since the theatre was above our room. After checking our room, we went up to the Windjammer and had lunch. The food there was very good every time. The weather was perfect the whole trip. The seas were calm until the last two days at sea. The ship was beautiful, in great condition for being 10 years old. I have been on Enchantment before she was made larger; they seemed to be almost the same. The dinning room food was great also and the service was outstanding. All the RCCL staff was excellent, friendly, and made sure you were taken care of. The only complaint I have was an issue with the Vision Day Spa. The add in the Cruise Compass one day was misleading and wasn't the service my wife received and for what I paid for. My Gold Member booklet was waiting in our cabin with several discount coupons along with our excursion tickets. One night we received an invitation in our cabin to a Welcome Back Party for Crown and Anchor members and to a Honeymoon reception. We went to both for the free champagne!

Ports of call:

Cabo San Lucas: The weather was great, hot, and humid, the water was very warm. We did the Sun & Fun Snorkel tour. They took us to the famous Land's End and by Lover's Beach. The crew on the boat were great, outgoing, made sure you felt safe. On the way back, they had an open bar, and served nachos. The snorkeling was fun. We saw some awesome colored fish. There were some jelly fish in the water which cut our snorkeling short for us. Other people didn't mind. One the way back, a school of 10 dolphins swam next to our boat. That was an amazing sight to see. We were able to take pictures.

Cabin Review

Small cabin, ample closet space, tiny bathroom. Theatre is above, heard noise some evenings.
