Carnival rules with 5 Stars in most categories... not their fault that embarkation is a mass of long lines and seems to take forever...then there is the life boat drill...crowded and another long line...once over the real fun begins and we didn't believe what we saw...beautiful sea greens and blues decorate this ship giving one the feeling of peace and tranquility...our outside cabin was immense by other ships standards...simply decorated with more than enough closet and drawer space...a large picture window next to our king size bed covered with high grade sheets and bedding...the pillows were divine and oh so comfortable...our cabin steward appeared immediately and never forgot our names during the cruise...each night we were greeted by towel animals on our bed and the chocolate treat we looked forward to...the ship was spotless as was our spacious bathroom and fluffy white robes...off to dinner and another surprise that evening and every day on our cruise...gourmet deliciously prepared food for all meals in the main dining rooms...addicting pizza 24 hours a day on the Lido deck as well as frozen yogurt and ice cream...the buffet was good as was the New York Deli but the highlight of every meal was an array of fabulous desserts to tempt the palate...of course we had to try them all...every day...now off to the evening entertainment with Broadway quality singers and dancers as well as comics and others who wowed us with their midnight adults only shows as well as their regular performances...every show was enjoyed...the gym was state of the art and huge with nutritional and health seminars that we listened to but unfortunately ignored for that one week...we were treated to long port days with the ship docked for 8 to 10 hours and two wonderful days at sea with many activities available...beautiful casino with more than enough tables to play at and a small sushi bar for delicious snacks...great music on board for every taste and Camp Carnival to keep the children busy...there was a feeling of complete joy on this ship as the Cruise Director and his exceptional staff kept us informed and laughing...what a surprise this cruise was as Carnival keeps their prices down and their quality up up and away...keep it up folks and we will see you on our way to Alaska...wouldn't dream of leaving you now.
